It's 25 years in the Phuket scene that the first Phuket bike week was held and now after a quarter century friendships, enthusiast and basically the event has expanded worldwide as one Asian biker event that's on the calendar for many every year or some once in a life time. Not forgetting it also clashed with Songkran Festival, the Thai new year 2019 and that's another fun part in itself.

There's generally thousands of people that turn up every year and many changes are made through good and bad financial years. Bikers, since days of Hells Angels have always been looked at in bad light but a lot of that has changed over the years and many bike groups do a lot of charity work that many don;t know about. Phuket bike week this year also has a ride for charity event and an auction too.

As in the last few years of Phuket bike week, 2019 will have the event split into two areas of Phuket island. The first will be at Loma Park on Patong beach and the second phase to be held at Phuket Boat Lagoon on the east side. This gives the chance for all to enjoy the festivities and view the bikes on display, the merchandise on sale, the Miss Phuket Bike beauty contest, plus the many sponsors that make the event a success are happy as well.
