A very popular beach amongst both Thai's and Western, the inviting turquoise waters and the smooth white sand makes it one of Phukets best beaches, but if you want to stay here be prepared to pay for it. While there are suitable accommodation for everyone the area caters mostly to the rich and you will find privately owned million dollar houses on the hills around this area.

If you are a party prince or princess Surin might not be the best choice, although there are bars and upscale restaurants available the night life is nothing compared to Patong. Should you want party staying closer to Patong would be suggested.

If you like a more peaceful type of vacation Surin has alot to offer, there is plenty to do at the resorts and the kids will love it here.
